THE DAY is a multifaceted accommodation facility produced by the lifestyle goods brand "Post General," which aims to reevaluate the value of what we have now and provide new value by incorporating your essence and design. The facility includes a burger shop supervised by the popular gourmet destination in Tokyo, "Burger POLICE," as well as "THE POST GENERAL BURGER" and a shop featuring various items from the POST GENERAL brand. The dome-shaped tents built in the midst of nature's untouched forest provide an opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities like camping while ensuring a comfortable indoor stay. You can relish the outdoors without the hassle of preparing or handling camping equipment; everything is ready for you.
Please enjoy this space that combines the best aspects of glamping and camping, with magnificent views of Mount Fuji and the refreshing scenery of Lake Yamanakako by the lakeshore.
FACILITY
In addition to the dome-shaped tents, we also have a burger shop, general store, and a common space building.
The common space building, located adjacent to the accommodation area, has been renovated and repurposed from a former hot spring inn. The bathing area retains the traditional Japanese ambiance with an unchanged rock bath. In the lobby, you can enjoy a coffee break (complimentary) in the lounge, and there is also a retro atmosphere with ping pong table, perfect for some post-bath entertainment.
For larger groups, we also offer the option of reserving the entire facility. Please feel free to contact us via email or phone to inquire about the availability and details.

No private bathrooms inside the individual dome tents. - Separate shared toilets available for men and women (located in common space building and the burger shop building). Bathing facilities are available. We use the underground water from Mount Fuji, providing very gentle and high-quality water. (Bathing hours: 16:00-21:00 / Only shower: 6:00-9:00) Each bath(Man and Women): 3 shower stalls.

- One shared bonefire (free of charge). On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, you can enjoy a campfire from 19:30 to 20:30. Our staff will manage the fire. You can also enjoy a private bonefire at each dome (for a fee).Please do not bring firewood and equipment from outside is prohibited.

"THE POST GENERAL BURGER," supervised by the sensational "Burger POLICE" in Tokyo, is renowned for its addictive premium salted wagyu beef burger, where the umami flavor is brought out by hand-cutting the beef after receiving orders. "Burger POLICE" has been selected as one of the top 100 hamburger restaurants in the popular website "Tabelog," and now they have lent their expertise to "THE POST GENERAL BURGER." Here, you can savor bistro-style burgers that respect nature, ingredients, and people. (※Available not only for guests but also for non-staying customers.)
For our staying guests' dinner, we offer a BBQ plan where you can indulge in the finest domestically sourced meats and seasonal ingredients from Yamanashi. Delight in a special dining experience with carefully selected wagyu beef, fresh vegetables, and more.

Our facility is located adjacent to the lakeside road of Lake Yamanakako, allowing you to enjoy water activities on the lake with your children. Moreover, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Fuji in the background, and we highly recommend visiting the picturesque viewpoints that are perfect for capturing beautiful photos for your social media (SNS).

- In August, we offer a limited-time leisure pool activity where you can enjoy fun water activities with your children. - Rental bicycle
- We provide rental cross bikes that you can use to ride around the lakeside. The rental service is available for a fee, and we also offer child-sized bikes for younger guests. Enjoy exploring the beautiful lakeside scenery on our rental bikes!

Take the JR Chuo Line's special express train bound for Kofu and transfer at "Otsuki Station" to the special express train bound for Kawaguchiko. Get off at "Fuji-san" Station. From there, take the "Fuji Kyuko Bus" for approximately 20 minutes and get off at "Yamanakako Village Office Mae" bus stop. It's about a 12-minute walk from there.
